Update on Robin Feasting

No pictures today. But I had to bring you all up-to-date on the latest thing that Robin has eaten. He continues to amaze me with his people-food-eating prowess. Last night he kept mooching my green peas. He ate at least 20 of them. They didn’t even have butter or salt, and it was on a plate with breaded fish fillets and he still went after the peas first.

It is my intention to keep an ongoing log of what he eats – it is truly stupendous. He has recently added red meat to his repetoire, so there is little he won’t eat. Lettuce, fish, cooked chicken are perennial favorites though.

More later.

  1. Wow…peas? That’s amazing. I’d love to know if he likes fruit–I had a cat who loved strawberries and oranges. She’d lick them until they were pulp. πŸ™‚

Peas? Sometimes they have the funniest tastes. My cat Tonik is very partial to parmesan shavings, burnt toast crumbs, asparagus, very crispy bacon and cantaloupe melon….

  3. Angel’s litter sibling Patti (now deceased) loved green peas – she’d kill for peas. Her brother Leo loved sweet corn.

  4. Oh love your gorgeous orange kitties…they are just fabulous (I admit, the orange ones have a special place in my heart).

Our first cat, Mooshi, used to eat anything and everything…we were worried we’d got a goat instead of a Persian cat…non-fat cream cheese was a must every morning…lentil soup, clam chowder soup, rice, eggplant stew, turkey, lamb chops, ice cream, were the perennial favorites πŸ™‚ She also loved my husband’s cooking so if it was on our plates, she wanted a taste πŸ™‚ Our three current cats can only eat prescription food…poor things!
